Hello and welcome to the Hudson Valley Knits podcast!

This is a really long episode as you can imagine. So much to talk about and share about Rhinebeck!

Some quick updates. See the Ravelry group for details on the Senior Love Along. You can mail your washclothes as soon as you are ready and the details are in the discussion thread.

Also a reminder that half the proceeds of my pattern sales are going to SillyFru’s #Crushthesack fund so if you like any of my patterns please purchase now and help Wendy out as well!

I have also started a new KAL and hope lots of you join in. It is the Podcaster Sprinkled With Fru Love KAL and you can find all the details in the chat thread

Episode 15 Sweater Knitting

Welcome to Hudson Valley Knits! Today I have some FO’s and WIPS to show and talk a little about my sweater knitting goals and possible KALS.

Emily from Fibre Town Podcast is graciously hosting a fundraising contest on her forum – so thought it couldn’t hurt to ask if you could give a little love.

Maya (selkhet on Rav) and her sister are raising money for Team ASPCA for the TD 5 Boro Bike Ride in May, and along with Emily  are doing a little giveaway for contest for folks that pledge – details available in Fibretown forum. which I link in my group. I am upping the anti with some Lorna’s Laces Solemate in the Rainbow color way.

Senior Love A Long #SrLovealong  – I am doing a year long KAL to make wash clothes for local seniors living in homes. I will collect them at the end of the year and gift out during the holidays. Please use 100% cotton, and any technique you would like to make your wash cloth. There are more details and a FO thread in the Hudson Valley Knits Group
