My First Published Pattern! Urban Village Cowl

I am so excited to announce that I have finally published one of my designs! It is called the Urban Village Cowl

To share my excitement I am offering it free for the next week. Simply use the coupon code urbanfreebie at check out to download this pattern for free. This will expire on February 16 so please go ahead and download.

This design started out as Christmas gift for my Mom a couple of years ago. I had made her a cowl but she didn’t like how it sagged around her neck and created bulk under her coat. To make my Mom super happy (because she deserves it and because it is really cold in upstate NY) I designed a cowl that would lay flat under your coat and has a collar to keep the neck warm. Using a bulky yarn makes it a quick knit. Choose your own style of buttons to give it your own unique look!
